Fife Cup Success 2010

In the summer of 2010 Largo upset the odds by beating all local rivals including those in higher leagues to win the Fife Cup for the first time.

The wins included memorable victories in the dark up at Freuchie with a memorable run chase involving the lower order coming good to get Largo over the line, as well as the final itself.

The final was held at East Drive against Falkland. Largo fielded first and kept the favourites to a respectable score of 132 in their 20 overs. Much to the delight however of the home crowd Andy Warrander and Dave Thomason passed the 100 mark for the opening pair to eventually lead to a 9 wicket victory and a memorable party for all involved.
