Good afternoon everyone
Friday 26th October 2018 at 7.00pm at the Old Manor Hotel sees the Club hold its Annual General Meeting.
Please note that your President, Howard Coates, wishes to highlight that important issues as to the future of the club need urgently to be discussed.
It is hoped that a large number of members, present and past, will attend. Our change of venue this year will hopefully provide a more relaxed atmosphere for our meeting.
The minute of the 2017 AGM and the Agenda for the 2018 AGM are attached for reference. If any of you have difficulty downloading these, please email me (email@example.com) and I will send a copy to you direct. These, along with the audited accounts will be presented at the meeting.
The Committee is made up of a minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 members including the following:
iv) Fixtures/ Competition Secretary
v) 1st.XI Captain
vi) 1st.XI Vice-Captain.
vii) 2nd.XI Captain
viii) One or more members
As has always been the case in previous years, the club welcomes the proposal and secondment for these positions or any others from members currently not on Committee.
All nominations must be in writing (email is fine), be seconded and sent to the secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) not less than 7 days prior to AGM (19th October 2018)
NB. To be quorate one quarter of those eligible to vote or 15 members, which ever is smaller, must attend.
Only paid-up members who are 18+ are entitled to vote but everyone is very welcome at the meeting including Junior members.
Should anyone have difficulty in opening any on the attachments please let me know.
The Club Treasurer will be happy to take early bookings/payments/deposits for the club dinner after the conclusion of AGM business.
