Weather Delays Cup Final

With most of the picnics prepared and beverages perfectly chilled an eleventh hour phone call spoiled a Sunny Sunday morning in the Largo ranks.  Heavy rain on Saturday caused the Forthill wicket to be very wet on the Sunday morning and with a heavy Haar not expected to lift till early afternoon the decision was made to postpone the Small Clubs Cup final until 11 August.  The prayer mats will be out all this week hoping this awful rainy cricket season will at least allow one dry weekend and enable both teams to play for  and decided the title on cricket merit rather than a bowl out lottery.

The bus for the re-arrange final on 11th has been confirmed with the same pick up points.  Hope to see you on Sunday.
