Largo v Murrayfield/DAFS

Largo triumphed in a tight match at Murrayfield on June 1st in a match sponsored by Boyack Homes Kirkcaldy.
Put into bat on a damp wicket Largo started well with Walker and Mowat putting on 58 for the 1st Wicket.Largo proceeded thereafter to lose 5 wickets for 2 runs. Only a sterling effort by Greg Rodden who made 30 ensured Largo passed 100.
In reply Largo made early inroads to the hosts batting reducing them to 25 for 5.Murrayfield then recovered to 79 for 6 and were favourites before and unlikely source of wickets was found in Walker who took 3 for 7 as Largo won by 17 runs.
