Largo Outclass Mitre
Largo romped to victory in double quick time on Saturday at East Drive
crushing Mitre by 9 wkts. With Sundays rearranged Small Clubs Cup Final still in
mind the home side won the toss and chose to field. An early mix up saw Malik
run out by good work from Alistair Duncan and from there on Largo decimated the
visitors batting line up. Rodden, Barclay, Ritchie and captain Mowat all
returned stunning bowling analysis as a paltry 30 all out was achieved by Mitre.
Largo wasted no time in winning the game in 7.1 overs only disappointed briefly
by the dismissal of Walker with 18 on the board. Duncan and Donaldson who hit
two big sixes took the game home with ease.
