Pitchero Club

The official Largo Cricket Club app

Report by Ian Scott.

Following our home tournament and one at Falkland Largo's kwikcricketers were on their travels again this time to McKane Park, Dunfermline to take part in the Dunfermline and Carnegie Tournament. The Largo youngsters did themselves and the club proud by putting in a great deal of effort and showing no little skill in the four matches they played. As ever having fun was the main reason for taking part but it was nice to come away having won all four matches. The Largo bowling particularly impressed some of the observers giving away relatively few free hits for wides and no balls. While Alfie, Lochie and Archie were old hands at playing in inter-club tournaments, Rory and Eliza were relatively new to it and for Jess and Keziah this was their first inter-club tournament. Well played all.

A big thank you to the travelling support who not only provided transport and encouragement but seemingly endless supplies of goodies to fuel team Largo!!
