In 2009 we will be running an U15 team, an U13 team, an U11 team and a KwikCricket team. The U15s and U13s will play all of the Fife teams (home or away) and
there will also be several friendly matches against the likes of Arbroath, Clackmannan, Forfarshire, Perth, Stirling and Strathearn. The U11 team will have several matches against local sides and
play in several tournaments hosted throughout Fife and beyond. Our KwikCricketers will play in approximately 6 KwikCricket tournaments in Fife and also
in the Arbroath tournaments, There will also be several U17 matches against local sides and for the second season Largo will have a 4th XI which will always include several juniors and has now been entered in ESCA Division 8
Here is some useful info that all players/parents should bear in mind

Here is a precis of nutritional recommendations that we think are useful (to us all !). These of course are not specific to cricket
- Eat a good carbohydrate meal about 2 hours before a match/training (e.g. Pasta, Rice, Baked Potatoes, Bread, Fresh Fruit)
- During a match/training - Drink plenty of fluids at regular intervals - being thirsty is a sign of dehydration
- After a match/training - Refuel as soon as possible with carbohydrates and fluids (water/fruit cordials)
- Other carbohydrates like sugar, sweets and jams are less nutritious but can supply a quick source of energy
